How to Book Online
Online reservations are currently for advanced bookings only.
To book bikes on the day, please call us on 01841 532594.
It is now quick and easy to check our day-to-day hire availability and reserve your bikes in advance, using our new online booking system.
Scroll down to choose a date and time you would like to hire.
Choose the style, size and quantity of bikes needed, then add to shopping cart to be shown real-time bike availability for your chosen hire period.
Make sure to check out the relevant size guides if you are unsure of what sizes you will need. (click the second image along next to bike images)
If all your selections are available, you will then be able to proceed to the cart checkout.
All online bookings made are for a days hire. Please double check your selected date & collection time before you checkout. (shown at the top of the shopping cart)
Fill in your details and pay a small reservation deposit of £10 to secure the booking collection for 1 HOUR after the chosen hire start time.
Tick to confirm you understand and agree with our booking terms and continue to payment.
If payment is successful, you should receive an automated email confirming all the details of the booking made. (if an email confirmation isn’t received within 24 hours, first check your junk mail folders, then get in contact)
Helmets, locks and puncture repair kits are all included in the hire and provided upon arrival.
We currently do not take on-the-day reservations online, so it is recommended to book at least a day in advance to avoid any disappointment. (the on the day online booking cut off is 8.30am)

Non-pre-booked walk-ins are still welcome, but booking in advance is highly recommended.
Full payment for the hire is taken IN PERSON on the day.
Then on collection, your £10 reservation deposit will be deducted from your total hire cost.
If you fail to collect your bikes within 1 hour after your chosen collection time (the start time of your hire period), your £10 reservation deposit WILL BE LOST and your bikes will NO LONGER BE GUARANTEED.
Any amendments to the booking must be requested at least 24 hours before your hire date.
Group Bookings
We ask that large group bookings of 10 bikes or more are to be paid for in full, prior to your chosen hire date.
Just proceed with our online booking system, to confirm your hire reservation. We will then contact you to pay in full via a payment link online, or with a debit card over the phone.
Group bookings of 15 bikes or more, will receive a large group discount of 10% off the total hire cost. (when paid in advance)
Multi-day Hires
If you would like to reserve bikes for more than 1 day, you can either use our online booking system to reserve your bikes for each individual date needed (you will also be required to pay the £10 reservation deposit for each day), or give us a call on 01841 532594 to discuss/arrange any other multi-day requests.
We offer a 10% discount on hires of 5 days or more, but this will need to be booked over the phone only.
Bikes reserved online for sequential multi days, will not need to be returned to us each evening, but bikes kept over night are the hirers responsibility and requested to be kept in a secure indoor location.
Afternoon Hires
The latest online reservation time we take is 12.30pm. Anything after this time is done on a first come, first serve basis and during busy periods bike availability cannot be guaranteed.
However, afternoon hires are great for those wanting a shorter ride and those wanting to take advantage of our afternoon reduced rates.

Electric Bikes – from £25
Tandems – £30
Child’s Bikes – from £8
Booking Terms
Your £10 reservation deposit, will guarantee the reservation of your bikes for up to 1 HOUR AFTER the start time of your chosen hire period only.
This reservation deposit is nonrefundable. However, it is transferable to an alternative hire date.
Full payment for the hire is taken on the day IN PERSON when collecting your bikes. Here your £10 reservation deposit will be deducted from your total hire cost.

Identification from one person in your group must be shown on arrival, such as a driving license or passport.
If no ID present, a bank card must be left with us as a form of security (no exceptions).
All pre-booked bikes are charged at our full day hire rate regardless of collection time and must be returned back to us before your chosen hire period end.
Unarranged late returns will be charged an additional late return fee of £5 per bike, per 30 minutes of unarranged hire time.
Please contact us before the end of your hire period if you think you are going to return late.
Style and size of bikes may vary slightly to the images shown during busy periods.
Here at Trail Bike Hire, we cannot control the Cornish weather and unfortunately are unable to refund any reservation deposits, due to weather conditions.
We will however do our best to accommodate any amendment requests for alternative hire periods, if available.
